Installing new "Turkey Tray" intake gasket in a '67 330 with the bolt in valley pan.
I've done this before, but it's been many years and I didn't remember
having to bolt the valley pan through the turkey tray.
The new turkey tray didn't have holes for the valley pan bolts.
This made me question whether the valley pan should even be installed with the turkey tray.
I've cut holes in the turkey tray for the bolts with the intention of reinstalling the valley pan.
Pretty sure the 330 originally came with the turkey tray gasket. Am I wrong?

The Turkey Tray intake manifold gasket is for an engine without the bolt in valley pan. The Fel-pro MS99471 is for the 330 with the bolt in tray. I you want to use the Turkey Tray Fel-pro MS96009, simply unbolt and remove the stock one from the lifter valley.

The turkey tray replaces the separate valley pan. This is yet another example of how the factory reduced parts count and assembly cost. If you want to use the tray style gasket, simply leave the valley pan out.

Using both DID seem redundant, but, I was thinking ALL the V-8's in those years used the turkey tray.
I guess not since mine had the valley pan.
