1966 Front Brakes
How many years are compatible with the 1966 Toronado front brake shoes (11"X2 3/4") I see many of the vendors listing replacement shoes as 11"X2 1/2" which is the same as the 98's. The chassis manual shows 2 3/4" as correct.

Wild Guess: Toronado only, from model year '66 until discs were standard.
MAYBE Riviera/Eldorado from '66-'67 until discs were standard.
The important question is why are you screwing with drum brakes? Convert to disc, especially the dual-circuit master cylinder.

These guys can build you a new set of shoes! I have used them with past projects: https://www.porterfield-brakes.com/

I have had these shoes on the shelf for several years and just discovered they are too wide to fit my '98's. I thought someone might be looking for something like this since the venders are listing the smaller (improper) size for Toro's. Thanks for your input.
