Not a bad deal if it's real. I'd want to see the trans code, the radiator vacuum switch and a GOOD close-up shot of the VIN plate to make sure it matches that Monroney label, mainly b/c the Monroney shows a power antenna and this car doesn't have it- it's on the wrong fender for one thing and a manual at that.

Why on God's green earth did they paint it the way they did?

Hunter (that is the seller), got hell-bent-out-of-shape when I told him the car was built in LANSING not Detroit. The car was sold brand new in Ohio.
Last time I saw this W-34 on also on Ebay. David (I think that what his name was), a Mopar guy from PA, sold it for about $3600 back in 2006 or 2007.
IF you have to look at this Toronado up close - pull up the bottom of the rear seat.
If there is any floorborad rust, it is usally at the right rear section . Check the frame for sure. I bet dollars to doughnuts the bottom of the door have rust .
Somehow I have a feeling the timing gear and chain has never been replaced.
Back in the summer of 1995 I had the timing gear and cahin replaced on my blue 1968 W-34 Toro (with a double roller steel unit). even with a car with 88,000 miles, the gear looked like a table saw blade (NO TEETH), then was 1/2 inch slop, and the 455 never jumped its timing (WOW!). My friend Glen W from VA always told me to replece timing gear/chain ssetups on Olds motors. Boy was he right.
