Which Lubricant for 1967 Toro Differential?

Gents: Need to check and possibly change/refill the lubricant for a 1967 Toro differential, I will appreciate any recommendation on which type to use. Regards. Raul.

Just saw your post. Did you find the correct lube yet?

I would use a quality synthetic 80W-90 gear oil.

Yes, I believe that is correct. I would have to check a receipt, but I recall NAPA had it and the CSM states Non-Foaming is recommended.
He is in Argentina. His post is over a month old he probably figured it out by now. Worthy of a reply and archive value. Thanks Oldsmobuser

The 1967 Oldsmobile Chassis Service Manual says that for the final drive on the Toronado use gear lubricant part number 1050015 or equivalent. Fill to level with plug hole in cover.

If it is a positive traction rear end you need to use the GM additive with a traditional lube which was generally 90 weight.

I have to say that I have never seen any lubricant that is 66-67 Toronto specific. Thanks for posting that picture.
