When I changed to an M6 transmission, I replaced the entire automatic brake pedal and bracket with a bolt-in bracket that carried the brake and clutch pedals from a manual transmission car.

I found a document that may help, if you would like some advice from a veteran of this conversion.

Here is the list of parts I used for conversion. Today, there are kits--and those may already give you many of these parts.

The list omits the seals around the stick, which I fabricated from Camaro parts I found in the junkyard.

I had some trouble with driveshaft angles, and I needed to create more clearance in the driveshaft tunnel to avoid clash under full rear spring compression.

I wanted a console, so I had to adapt one to fit; the stick came out 3" farther back from stock and I needed to change the wood-grain inserts and reposition the shifter surround. You may have more stick positioning options than I had in 2005.

If you are asking about the bracket that the brake and clutch pedals hang from, yes that part is the same for both. Simply pull the pivot pin for the AT brake pedal and install the new clutch and brake pedals. Easy Peasy.

Thanks Joe, was going to check it today. Good to know. Do the Chevelle pedals actually fit? One of the hydraulic kits actually come with a pedal but just the clutch for some reason. My goal is have a clutch easy on the street to use but grips like it should. My ex BIL had a 5 spd Mustang, the clutch was awful to use, so heavy, almost a two footer.
