New exhaust vibration causing trans fluid pan leak

I recently replaced the single exhaust muffler and tail pipe on my 68 Cutlass Supreme and I noticed that my transmission pan was leaking a couple days after. It drips a circle around the size of a quarter over a course of 12 hours or so. When I first noticed the leak I went to tighten the bolts and most were easy enough to turn without much effort. Once I went around and gave them a snug tightening it stopped leaking. I noticed today that it is still dripping from the front end of the pan. My question is, could it just be leaking because the bolts arent tightened to torque specs (35lbs I believe) or do the bolts need thread locker or am I going to need to replace the gasket? Considering this problem only started after the deeper sounding exhaust was put on. Would replacing the gasket be as simple as draining the fluid, cleaning the pan, removing/replacing gasket, and then bolting with thread locker and correct torque specs? Thanks

Is it wet above the pan. If its coming from the front of the transmission. The front pump seal might be bad. I would take the plastic cover off if it still has one and check in between the tq.conv. and transmission and see if it is wet.

Better check those torque specs. I'm thinking 35 lbs will squish the gasket, distort the pan and cause more problems. They were a little loose for a reason.

71W30 Has it right 35 ft lbs will twist the bolts off. Hell 7/16 lug nuts only take 65-75 lbs. I don't have the specs in front of me but guessing from experience 110 in lbs is probably close to correct.

I read 35lbs somewhere. I don't have a torque wrench so that is the reasoning behind asking if it could be because of the torque specs. I went around and tighten them the best I could without having to jack up the car. I will take a closer look later today and post a photo. Thanks

1/4" rachet with your wrist toward the drive end puts just the right amount of torque.

I was table to snap a photo of it this morning. This is what it looked like after sitting over night. When I parked yesterday it was dry. Im keeping my eye on my trans fluid level and I haven't lost a lot since it started leaking. Looks like its coming from the rear section trickling to the front?
