I have a th350 that i scored from transmission builder as a core out of his back room of spare transmissions. I'm now looking to purchase my kickdown cable and every parts store is guessing as to what cable i would need. Is there a way i can trace what car my trans came out of or does anyone know what prt# or car i could use as a reference for when i purchase my cable.

I think it matters more what car its going into and which bracket you have.

Agreed, but if you must know the ID number is stamped above the pan lip on the side of the case.

Ok so if the application makes the difference is it more of the length of the cable that plays a factor? My set up is in my sig anyone know what cable i would need or will it be trial and error?
