Kickdown cable

Im putting a olds 455/th350 set up into my 79 cutlass . Buttoning everything up i just noticed i do not have a th350 kickdown cable . I have an 84 olds 98 out back with the factory 307 i believe in it and i think its the 200r4 trans behind it can i use that kickdown on my th350?

I thought the TH200-4R uses a TCV cable and not a kickdown cable.

As noted, the 200-4R is a throttle valve cable, but it is just a cable in a sheath after all. The important factor is the connection at the trans. It APPEARS that the part that goes into the trans is the same, but that's based on comparing photos, not actual measurements. Also, the end at the carb may or may not be the same.

I think the answer is bad idea on that one. Were the 79s kickdown cable to pedal or to carb?
