Air Filter - Metal Mesh non - Oil Bath
I have the standard non oil bath filter. I have to oil it periodically. Anyone ever seen a dry filter replacement? Its 1.5h x 8od x 6.5 id

As a matter of fact, yes. I went through this a couple of years ago. But mine is just the 2-barrel so different. I went with an after marked reproduction Air assembly.
But I believe Red has the dry filter replacement that will work in that air cleaner. Or, just do a bit of research on the diameter and height you want. A couple of the AF manufacturers have pages that give dimensions.

When I had my 54, it had the same bat-wing air cleaner on it. I took it up to O'Reilly and we tried and found a Wix filter that fit it. Big improvement. I kept the number off the box in the glovebox but it went with the car when I sold it. It seems we had a thread on this subject and it probably has the filter number. I will try the search function and see if I can find that thread.

Found this in an old Fusick catalog (it's $49.50 now) and found this when searching 1528698 https://www.chevsofthe40s.com/detail..._Complete.html

A 1987 Mazda is close, good lord. https://brettstruck.com.au/products/...-50-l-db5pa-b5
Funny the filter part number is A442J. If it's got a 442 in it, it's got to be good!
From Australia and NZ only $81 to ship it, these crappy Mazda 121s aren't even in Rock Auto's list of vehicles. It's 8.8 inches OD probably wont work. I may just have buy a spare for 50 bucks and be good.
