Firing order drawings

I had a stuck valve on an original inline 6 1947 olds 238 took head off. now I remember the fire order but would be more comfortable with a picture Any one have a drawing from the dist cap to the plugs?? Also was the whole block color that sea green?? Thanks

153624 is the firing order. I could not find any diagrams.

I couldnt get that drawing either for my 56 so bring number 1 to tdc and where the rotor is pointing is number one,of course you have to note the direction the rotor turns to find the next one which should be 5 according to oldcutlass.

Also it doesn't matter where you place the #1 plug wire just as long as you follow firing order after that.

Most people point it towards the #1 spark plug (about 5 o' clock) but on a straight 6 it doesn't matter or any engine it doesn't matter.
