1986 442

When I bought my '86 new I remember the salesman telling me that '86 was the first year for the full 'roller' 307. I also remember him telling me that there were a few cars that were getting the 700R-4 trans. I didn't think the 700R-4 ever had a BOP application (until it became the 4L60). Am I remembering correctly that '85-'87 442s had ONLY the 'OZ' 200R-4 transmission or were there some that got the 700R-4?

The Olds used the TH200-4R.

By the way, the roller cam was first used in the Olds 307 in 1985, but only on the Y-code engines, not the 9-code engine used in 442s. The 9-code engine didn't go roller until 1986.
