Hi,
Will the 86 headlights and grille fit into and 87 without any body modifications?

Thanks
Jim

87/88 were euro style header panels, quite a bit in size for the grills on 81-86 compared to the height, on the euro style. Also composite headlamps compared to halogen bulbs. So I would say no!

You'll have to include the header panel and bumper cover, it'll bolt right up.

You will needed to swap the Header & Fascia complete as well as the wiring harness to accommodate the 86 head lights and side marker lights in the fascia..........

Not critical to function but if either has fiber optics this may come in to play, no big deal on the park lamp just drill a hole, not sure on how the halogen bulbs work with the fiber optics.

If you are referring to the halogen bulbs for the 87/88 style composite head lights.... It is actually a non-issue since the head lights (composite or seal beam) are not part of the fiber optic system.........

Refresh my memory, it's been ten years since I last fooled with one, 3 indicators for front. Park, turn and ( ) Rear indicator 1 for pass and driver side, catch all, running lights dim, brakes they brighten and turn they flash.

Headlight(low) Headlight (high) and signal. Rear indicators inside on top of center rear window - red indicators for brake/signal.
