Valley Pan/Intake Gasket

Probably a "dumb" question, but...please confirm that a used valley pan/intake gasket is garbage and can't be reused (1971 455). Just want to be sure before I toss my old one into the scrap bin.

The raised beads around each port deform when you torque the manifold to make the seal. Once deformed, they can't be "un-deformed" for re-use.
