What size motor is it?

What size motor is it?

Hey fellas. Ive got a '67 Delta 88 Conv. i was wondering how do i tell what size motor is in it. It has a 2bbl sitting on top?

It SHOULD be 425, but either tell us the numbers or take a picture of the shelf above the water pump so we can see it and then tell you what you have.

Nice-looking car you've got there!

I've got the exact same car with the 425 engine and the same carburetor as yours. The numbers on the shelf above the water pump confirm the engine according to the codes on this page:

My numbers are 389244D where the D is larger than the other characters.

These numbers should be easy to find.

Yes i found it! And it is the same As Juanty75's. That helps alot with finding parts. Thank you for all your help. I have seen you car all over the internet. How long have you had it. It is beautiful. I have been thinking of changing to 4bbl. Any thoughts?

I haven't really considered it. I rebuilt the carb that's on the car, and it runs like a top and has plenty of power. I sort of feel that I don't want to fix what ain't broken.

I've had the car since June of '09, so almost two years now. It doesn't look half as good as yours!
