70 supreme convertible Windshield replacement, time for dash paint?

Hi
i am getting my windshield replaced on my 70 Supreme Convertible and i noticed the dash paint is worn.
What's the best process for re painting this area while the glass is out?
See photo
Thank you

Flat black? Gloss black? Rustoleum? Details.
Thank you!

Go flat black. Otherwise the dash will reflect in the windshield and make it harder to see out of the windshield.

Agree on the flat black to reduce reflection and glare. I used either flat or semi flat black Rustoleum. Been too many years to remember exactly which.

And don’t be surprised to see some rust in the bottom of the windshield channel

I would vote for flat black also. if there is rust you could try the rust reformer as a primer or wire wheel/ scotchbrite pads. be careful as the rusty metal could be thin. also use wax & grease remover as the last step before priming.

It looks very good after the process.
Can you indicate what materials you used for painting and protection against rust?
For the moon, did you glue it with polyurethane?
Thanks in advance.

Regards
