So I have been searching for an original passenger side quater panel for my '68 Cutlass Supreme as I have heard the aftermarket skins are a nightmare. Well I finally found one at a junkyard in California. It is going to cost me 600.00 plus 180.00 in shipping. Seems extremely steep in price to me and might be willing to fork out a little less for an aftermarket. Is this worth it in your guys opinion?

If you go this route, get plenty of pics, all angles, inside and out! Pay with credit card....if they don't accept, don't deal! I'm speaking from a recent bad experience with a "reputable" yard in AZ! If the part is very dry and in good shape, and they can use a saw to cut it off rather than a torch, that price is probably about right for a good full qtr with wheelhouse! Shipping is about right also. You may be able to find a qtr cheaper from someone here on the site! Maybe 2blu442(John)....you should check with him.

What you save in the cost of the aftermarket patch panel (there is no aftermarket full quarter) you will more than make up in labor costs to get it to fit and look right, in my opinion. Pay me now or pay me later.
