1969 Delta 88 Royale 2 door

I have a 2 door 1969 Delta 88 Royale, 2 door hardtop, with 66,xxx miles. This car is all original and in very good condition. Always garaged. The body is blue, vinyl top, black interior with bucket seats and floor shifte The car has AC which works when charged, but it has a slow leak. Holds charge 2 years. The engine is a 455 and the carb is Rochester 650 Quad. I am asking 5500.00 OBO. This car runs great and is fun to drive. If you would like more info. call me (Dayton) at 217-412-1816 or email me at biodiesel_revolution@yahoo.com. Iam located in Illinois.

That's how long it's designed to hold a charge. Really. 1 lb a year is normal.

2. Pics? Don't leave us hangin'.

I am sorry I do not have pics for you guys. I am working on that as I speak/type. I am attempting to get them on my yahoo account and then I can email them. I am not the most computer literate. I am better working on old cars.

Glad to.

Nice car. Had a '68 4-door in similar shape once.
Should never have sold it.

yeah for sure.... I'm a retired GI and we get pennies on the dollar, and lately the congress and president hasn't given us a raise for the last 2 years... (that includes this upcoming 2011)... try living on 2009 wages... sux man..

But i'll keep it in mind... Still looking for a lower priced 98 or 88 if i can find one... There's one in E. Ky I'm looking at if it doesn't sell on ebay, may talk to that owner after the sale ends...

I was looking at some of those pictures and thought I might clarify that the closeups are a bit vauge. I took closeups of the lower front fenders, and the rear bumper right side, as they have rust. Trying to be honest.

MDchanic, If you look in the back ground in the garage you will see another Delta 88, a 1970. That one is the first car I ever owned. I never wanted to be that guy who says, " I wish I had my first ......", so I kept her. This 1969 I bought because it was in such good shape I could drive her and relive my youth. LOL.

haha nice!! my first Olds was a 1977 Cutlass Supreme, but I don't want another one like that, by time it had 56k on it, that car had darn near everything replaced on it under the hood except the 350 block... I traded it off for a 1977 Olds 88 Royale that belonged to a pharmacist while I was in college (sometime around 1980 or 81), and it had a 350 Chevy V8 in it, and that car never gave any trouble... Had the tranny replaced once, and sold that car for $1500 with 168k miles on it.... The paint was pretty bad by then, but interior still like new... I loved my '77 Royale...

Yeah, I noticed it. I was wondering what the story was.

My first car was a '71 Celica. It was totaled a week after I started driving it (not even my fault).

My SECOND car was a '70 Chevelle SS. Drove it every day for ten years.
I've still got that one, and relive my youth often, when I go for groceries .

my first car was a 1966 Ford fairlane 500, rusty, crusty, but i had loads of fun... My friends made fun of it since most of them had new or newer cars, but still it was mine, and for $300 it was mine and all mine... PAID IN FULL...
