General Overview:
Broadcast Card to authenticate the W-30 option.
PROTECT-O-PLATE with matching VIN.
Oldsmobile Pre-Delivery Service and Adjustment Check Sheet with matching VIN.
Oldsmobile New Vehicle Warranty and Owner Protection Plan Document with matching VIN.
Oldsmobile Owner’s Manual and various original pamphlets.
The car was sold new at Olympic Oldsmobile in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
Twilight Blue paint code 28 28 with black stripes.
Black Interior with black bench seat.
W-27 3:91 aluminum differential & cover.
31,500 original mile survivor.
80% original paint.

The car was parked in 1974 and has been sitting for the past 49 years until recently back on the road in summer of 2023. The odometer reads 31,500 original miles.

The original owner Thomas F. is alive and well and still resides in Chicago, Illinois USA.

The car received a 3 year long detail orientated preservation style of restoration in an attempt to withhold the survivor status.

This W-30 W-27 4 Speed is an excellent reference example that retains many of its original markings and details.

I have TONNES of photos to show all the before and after’s.

I have an engine parts list of all the components used during the engine build available upon request.
Bill Trovato from BTR Performance was the consultant for the engine build.

I hope the next caretaker will cherish this very rare 1970 W-30 W-27 4 Speed as much as I have.

Engine is a 1970 service block replacement with pad stamp “L 70 SB – 4013” – dealership paperwork.
Engine block cylinders have been bored .030” and block decked.
F heads original to car and have been ported/polished and professionally rebuilt.
Aluminum intake manifold 406115 “OLDS W-455” original to car.
Aluminum intake manifold thermostat housing Code #5 404632 original to car.
Aluminum intake manifold PCV NOS AC CV679C.
Carburetor Rochester Quadrajet 7040256 UA 3509 original to car and has been professionally rebuilt.
Carburetor Choke Stove NOS GM.
OAI air cleaner base original to car has been restored with correct date code stamping font and color.
OAI flapper assembly original to car has been restored.
OAI air cleaner pneumatic solenoid, breathers, tubes, hold down springs, hoses Thornton reproduction.
Distributor 1111977 Date Code 9G21 original to car and has been professionally rebuilt.
Distributor currently installed onto engine is Performance World with Pertronix 1181 module.
Distributor Cap NOS AC Delco D308R.
Ignition Coil original to car has been finished with Eastwood Underhood Black.
Ignition Coil currently installed onto engine is Pertronix Flame Thrower.

Engine parts supply and engine machining/build consulting from Bill Trovato with BTR Performance.
Engine has been professionally rebuilt by D&W machine shop in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Engine block cylinders have been bored out 0.030” and the block deck height machined too “0 deck”.
Engine crankshaft original to car has been freshened up.
Engine entire rotating assembly has been professionally balanced.
Engine F-Heads have been professionally ported and polished with flow rate test results before/after.
Engine has a custom billet steel roller camshaft high lift/duration with solid roller lifters.
Engine has forged aluminum high compression pistons and forged steel connecting rod.
Engine build components detailed information available upon request.
Engine has been professionally dyno tested and tuned producing 465 HP and 550 pound feet of torque with initial timing left @15 degrees and total timing left @36 degrees.
Engine has been painted with Color-Rite Oldsmobile Metallic Blue Engine Paint.

Congratulations to you and the new caretaker..A ton of detailed work was put into that car..And a BONUS, comes out with more horsepower than a factory w30 via roller cam and ported heads with a decked block I assume.. NICE WORK…
