My '67 4-4-2 in an NFL 2023 Commercial
Hi guys,
So yesterday I was watching coverage of the British Open Golf Championship on NBC, and a commercial comes on advertising the upcoming NFL season which is starting soon. During the commercial there is a very short 4 or 5 second clip of an Aquamarine '67 4-4-2 with the silver and blue Detroit Lions logo on the passenger side door and front fender. I am assuming the logo is just a thin decal of some type because you can see how the detail in the logo crosses the gap between the front door and the front fender. The clip doesn't show the whole car, just the passenger door/fender with the Lion's logo and front fender area with the tri-color 4-4-2 badge as the car is moving down a road.
Why do I think this is my car? When I bought the car in 2018, the previous owner, who lived in Warren, Michigan (a Detroit suburb), told me the car was used in a 2017 NFL Detroit Lions pregame segment which featured the car driving around to various Detroit historic sites. He told me at the time I bought the car that he had a copy of that footage and he would send it to me, but later told me he was unable to find the CD to make me a copy. So, this is why I am 99.9% sure the car in this latest commercial is mine. I've searched online since yesterday trying to find a post of the commercial I saw yesterday, but have been unable to locate it. I am not sure if it is an "NFL" corporate commercial or an NBC Sports commercial, but I'd sure like to find a copy online if possible. If any of you guys out there are good online sleuths and can find it, I'd sure appreciate you giving me a heads-up and dropping me a link to where I can find it. Thanks in advance for any help!

Thanks Greg, I think it's pretty cool too! I reached out to the previous owner today to let him know how much fun I've had with the car over the last couple years, and to ask him if he ever came across that copy of the Lion's pre-game segment. I haven't heard back from him yet. I'm sure as we get closer to the start of the NFL season they'll be showing that commercial more and hopefully I can record a copy. Until then I'll just keep on searching. I may see if I can find any contact info for NBC Sports and see if I can find any info via that source?

Update:
I found where the Golf Channel was airing a replay of the Final Round of the British Open late last night and this morning and I recorded it. I found the commercial in question and played it. I snapped these two pictures. One while the commercial was paused, and the 2nd while it was playing. I am sure this is my '67 4-4-2!

Very very cool indeed!!! I saw the commercial for the first time yesterday and my wife said she had seen it too. Great to see the OLDSMIBILE brand and the 442 getting its props! As the owner of a 70 Reef Turquoise 442, the GM Medium Turquoise Metallic was just the icing on the cake! Simply the bomb.

rocketraider, redoldsman, and fleming442 - Thanks guys for the nice comments. Ya, the footage in the latest commercial goes by quick, if you blink you'll miss it. I sure wish I was getting a royalty for everytime it was airing!

Update to Story
Hi guys - Yesterday I got an early Christmas present when I got a heads-up that the story about my car being in these NFL videos will be published in the January, 2024 edition of the OCA's monthly Journey with Olds magazine. I'm pretty excited to see how it turned out!

Thanks! Like you suggested, I'd bet the delivery dates of your last 2 issues was just a USPS error because I remember mine coming as scheduled.
