Weather 1.1

I was a Navy Aerographer's Mate. Weatherman to non Navy person. That is one of the basic trends of atmospheric pressures and related wind direction that is taught in weather school. I went to AG school in Lakehurst NJ in 1968. Not the best duty, but the instructors really knew what to teach about weather.

If there had been a meteorology school closer than St Louis in the 70s I might have considered it as a career. Now there are 4 within half a day's drive.
I've been a NWS/NOAA weather spotter for almost twenty years, have the weather station and everything. My friends at NWS Blacksburg VA office keep telling me go for it, but no point in a retiree taking up class space that a young person could benefit from.
Right now tracking a particularly nasty t-storm that will probably be on top of me in 20 minutes or so. Heavy thunder and has a history of intense lightning. Barometer is dropping so it could be a rough one.
