Has anyone modified and wired their headlights to where all four switch back and forth between high and low? Basically dual filament in all of them or LED/HID duals? If so, how did you wind up wiring it?
Yeah, just use low beam parts in the high beam location. Easy peasy.
I'm talking about making all four lights aftermarket dual filament and having them all swap back and forth. So basically I'll have all low beams, hit the foot switch and then have all high beams.

There is no relay. The headlights are hardwired to the switch, which contacts sizes to carry the current of the OEM headlights. Changes in current draw can overheat the switch.

Since the switch already powers 4 hi beam filaments, I doubt that's an issue.
Especially if I swap to LEDs that won't draw the amps that halogen do.

I have done that, Run 2 relays, 1 for low, 1 for high beams, use original wiring to switch them on.
No issues with cops, it's not like you are blinding oncoming traffic.
