Need help with my Cowl Tag
I have seen threads about this but I can't find what I'm looking for. Can anyone tell me what color my original interior is from the cowl tag or direct me to the decoder?

ST 72 - 1972 model production. ** I'll come back to that in a second
3 - Oldsmobile division
42 - Model; Cutlass Supreme
67 - Body style; convertible
LAN - Lansing MI production
223213 - Body number assigned by Fisher Body Works at Lansing. Has nothing to do with VIN
08E - time build code. Assembled by Fisher in the 5th week (E) of August (08) 1971. After being built by Fisher, the body (from cowl to rear deck) was shipped to the Lansing Assembly line to be completed. Fisher took anywhere from 3-4 days to get the car ready for the assembly line.
**This is an early production 72 indicated by the build date. Factories finished the 1971 model year production around the end of June each year and retooled for production of new model years in early July to build inventory for dealers. This car appears to have been built almost 2 months into production. From what I've been able to learn, the early months production numbers were ramped up significantly, and slowed somewhat as the dealer demands dropped back to normal levels.
A65 - Split bench front seat with center armrest

Sorry to hear. I've dealt with them exactly 2x and both times they were rude and wouldn't work with me. Most of the members here steer clear of BAP (80442 on ebay) for good reason.
Hopefully you get better service and product replacement than a lot of us have experienced.

I guess I should have asked about them before I ordered. I was going to order from The Parts Place but they were rude to me over the phone. I hope they don't give me any problems with this matter. The most frustrating thing about this is that I have never ordered upholstery for any of the cars I've owned and when I do a mistake like this occurs. Is there a suggested retailer for upholstery?
