Wheres the big wheels? musta been a football fan that ordered up that paint,a car guy or "playa" would have done something with the wheels.

In my opinion that's not even an Olds. It's a GM vehicle. No character whatsoever.

And yes, that is a Cincinnati Bengals decal in the window.

I have seen much worse. No big issue.
I have seen uglier new things sold from the dealers...

1991 - 1996 98's are pretty much alike

I agree that it's painful for some to see a nice car done up like that, especially when it's an Oldsmobile.

Couple of things though:

1. It's an Oldsmobile. Even with a paintjob only a ***** tiger could love.
2. Paint doesn't affect driveability, but might affect attitude and behaviour.
3. Paint can always be changed.
4. How flattering that the Bengals would choose a classic (well it's getting there) Olds to represent them. No, I'm not a Bengals fan.
5. It's more than a little overpriced. They should actually give it away as an adveritising gimmick and pay the owner to drive it around

I like the conventional look of these cars. I bought one and it's a moneypit. If I could go back in time, I would never have bought it in the first place. On the other side of the coin, it gave me lots of excuses to go out to the boneyards looking for parts and doing my own repairs over the past years. Not all cars are created, or last equally. If you want a nice 95 Olds Regency Elite for 3500.00 how's this one? Only 182,000 miles. Everything works and it 'looks purty' too.

Choosing between the two Allan, it would be no contest. I would take yours in a heartbeat but I would be neutered if I brought another car home!

Know what you mean Darrell. My wife thinks we should ditch one of our cars now that she's getting to the point where she doesn't like driving much anymore. I'm her 'designated chaufer'. After Feb 25 that will be just fine. Then we decide what to ditch: her Saturn (which has cost very little to maintain, has low mileage and get great fuel mileage OR my Regency which costs money all the time, has been a 12000 moneypit over the past 8 years, and is showing increasing signs of unreliability). I think it's going to be an easy choice Kenny Rogers said it best "You gotta know when to hold'em or when to fold'em". I would never sell my Regency to someone who didn't know exactly what they were getting into. I'm kind of wierd that way.

My newest addition is a Hyundai Sonata and so far it's been absolutely a dream to own and drive. Mtce costs? Zero, everything is covered by warranty for 5 years!!!

Actually going back to the 94 Bengal car the interior looks decent, with minor wear factors for age. Probably owned by a preverbial little old lady with an identity crisis who was swayed to paint it by her teenage sons... It does have 2 position memory seats, which suggests it also has a fair number of other options. Leather interior was standard with thee cars - you had to order a 'leather delete' option if you wanted velour interior. can't tell if it's got the digital dash TC, Computer Command ride etc, but then again we're not shopping at the Olds dealership in 1994......

Overall, I'd guess that it's going to be sold locally to a Bengals fan and have the crap driven out of it, or maybe someone will repaint it to original and give it a decent home for the rest of its life (hoping-but not holding my breath)
