Really oddball Oldsmobile sighting

Sometimes when I channel-surf I'll stop on Cartoon Network to see what's playing. Tonight's Ben10 episode was "Side Effects" from 2006. Opening scenes, Ben10 is chasing a robber who is driving what is clearly a 1970 442 ragtop.

I think that's the only time I've ever seen an animated Oldsmobile.

The Cleveland Show on Fox, I've seen a '70-'72 Vista Cruiser and in another episode, one of the characters is driving a '77ish Cutlass Supreme and drives it off a parking structure, lol.

Yep, Cleveland's step-daughter, Roberta has a boyfriend named Federline. He drives a 76-77 Cutlass Supreme. I've seen it in 2 or 3 episodes.

I did notice this 70 Supreme in a episode of Family Guy a while back. Sounds like Olds is a hit in animation lol

True dat. I hadn't noticed the one in Family Guy.

The one in Ben10 even had the exhaust trumpets detailed, was the giveaway it was a 442. That show's had several neatly done animated musclecars. One episode had a 68-70 Charger. Only bad thing is they're always driven by the bad guys.

Watched Emergency! this afternoon and a guy had got his hand caught in the garage door opener. He was sitting on, and the firemen were climbing all over, a 70-72 Vista Cruiser. Silver, no rack. Couldn't see any year-defining items such as the tail lights or the front of the car.

ADAM 12 Season 4 episode 2, you will see a brown 1970 Toroando, blue 1964 Stafford Argyll,and a blue 1969/1970 Shelby Mustang.
Also season 4, episode 22, "Who won?", with Dick Clark is another great show.

"Archer" has some nicely animated cars. Can't remember if he's had an Olds or not though.
