Rear Hood Molding

I cannot get the rear hood molding to butt up to the rear and stay there like it is supposed to. Anyone have a similar problem and what are the solutions - glue? screws? etc.
This would be on a 1970 442 aftermarket OAI hood. Thanks in advance!

I have a all fiberglass hood on my car and the lip where the chrome molding goes on isn't quite right. Also I had to remove the seal between the cowl and the hood or it stuck up too high.

liquid nails or gorilla glue should do it and also tape it down when applying it in the middle so it will not show. use 3m masking tape and rub it slightly across your pants before applying so it will not possibly rip the paint with possible pour adhesion.
