What year and car did these valve covers come on?

Are these rare or worth anything?

They started in 1973 and ran through 75. I may be off on the last year but I know 73 is when they started.

IMO 73 for sure, maybe 74, but my 75 didn't come with them, nor my 76 or 77...cast iron intakes on 73 were also logo like the valve covers. I've only seen 73's w/ logo on V/C personally. BB intake on left, SB on right.

Here is a picture of my '73 BB recently rebuilt and painted. I'm with Paladin. 73 or 74. The red and silver? That's a whole 'nother deal.

Yes, 1973-74 only, and yes they are sought after. Not worth as much as original notched 68-72 covers, but definitely worth more than plain ones. They look really good if you have them chromed.

I bought a pretty nice set a couple of months ago for $30. They had already been cleaned and painted Oldsmobile gold. I painted the black letters and installed them.

They aren't show quality, if you look close you can see imperfections, but under the hood on the car they don't look bad at all.
