455 Thermostat
I found this thermostat in the 455 I'm building when I took it apart, But I cant say as I've ever seen one like this before, It looks like an interesting design. Were these any good? Why did they stop making them like this? It is brand new so I'm wondering if i should just reuse it cause it looks pretty well built.

The OEM Thermostats were manufactured by Dole. I do not believe that they were problematic in any way. And.....when the thermostat "door" is fully open you have slightly better water flow as well. I still run the original one in my 1972 Cutlass. It works perfect.
