Carb Choke Cover Missing?

Carb Choke Cover Missing?
I have a '71 Cutlass Supreme - 350 with 2GV carb (7042156). I think I'm missing the cover to the choke. What I have is a plastic "disk" with a prong on the other side for the choke coil to slip onto. There was a gasket between this plastic disk and the choke housing. Shouldn't there be a cover that goes over this disc - that has the Rich-Lean markings on it?
This plastic "disc" was held there by the 3 screws, but when I put it back in, the screws don't seem to hold it in place. You can rotate it by hand and sort of "wind" the choke coil. There are no markings on the disc, except for what looks like a screwdriver slot in the middle of the outer face of it.
What am I missing here?? Should there be a cover - or is this plastic disc all there is? How do you know how to set the rich-lean mix? I've tried looking at carbs online, but I'm just not seeing a good view of the choke. Thanks!

it could be fade away, i had to look twise before i read the rich and lean on it.
it's molded in the plastic cap.
it should not have a extra cover on the plastic cap, only the plastic gm cap with 3 screw's to hold in place.

Just to clarify, there isn't a separate "cover". The black plastic disk has the choke coil anchored to the back of it. If the gasket isn't thick enough, the three tabs won't clamp it into place. Note that you can bend the fingers of the tabs for more clamping force. Note also that aftermarket choke coils don't say GM, they are blank with only a line for the alignment mark. There is no "Richer/Leaner" markings on these.
