66 F85 Finally Begins
#41
Been real busy since my last update but I have gotten some items done on the car. I pulled the rear windshield to reseal it and paint the channel to prevent rust. Speedometer was calibrated with new gears/speedo housing. Car is legal finally and has been driven to work after the alignment. Recently I had a scare with engine noise that I thought was valve train related but instead turned out to be the crossover plugs in the heads. After removing them, resealing intake and setting the valve again we are good to go! Currently I replaced the blower switch, removed the radio for a retro sound upgrade and the heater core. It started leaking and clearly has been for sometime. Tomorrow I will begin cleaning that mess up to remove rust and shoot some paint. Last thing I may have to look into is swapping the front springs as I think I maybe too low and the wheel is rubbing the wheel wells over a bump .

Heater core has been swapped out, fixed my blower switch and installed a retro sound stereo for tunes. I swapped the front springs for a set of Moog 5244's I had laying around. Car sits much more level and rides smoother. Last surprise fix was a fuel after it died on me driving to work. Next big thing looks like I'll be pulling the front windshield and resealing it as I noticed it moved when cleaning the window.
