I have not posted for several month. My previous posts were in the engine section. The guys on this forum helped me get through a rebuild of the 1984 302 V8 which is the engine the precious owner chose to use in this 1955 Studebaker Coupe. I have done one other 1955 Studebaker frame off restoration and a big moment is when the body comes off the rotisserie and is set back down on the frame. The Oldsmobile engine and tranny are painted Pontiac light blue which is a complimentary color to the 1955 International Salmon color. The roof is 1955 Studebaker Snowcap White.

Very cool project. I have two friends into Studes, one has a '60 Lark wagon and the other has a mid '60s ('64-'65??) Lark wagon with the retractable top. I don't have a pic of the mid '60s, but I have this:

I am a Commander; too overweight to be a Captain. Good career; got to see a lot of the world. Thirty Five years in the Naval Reserve. E-1 to E-6; O-1 to O-5. I am going to put a Commander's collar device on the car when it is done. It is a Studebaker Commander Coupe so it will probably be the only one with a collar device.
