I don’t have any side mirrors on my car, and I was wondering where the correct spot is to install them.

The PIM doesn't give dimensions, but you can get the general idea from the drawing. Forward on the door to allow room for the vent window to open.

See pics. About 4-5/8” from front edge of door to front of mirror on my 65 Cutlass.

and about 2” up from body line on door to center.

Damn. I got called into work and forgot about this.
The car is in my dark garage, but hopefully this helps.
it should get you close to an X & Y distance.
