1 year only style with no seat back release...

This 1966 recliner was a fairly rare option. The lever pulls smoothly the

seat reclines and locks. Lifting the back it returns to the original position.

the seat is a tad ruff to the eye . It lived in a barn for 25 years tracks welded

to half a steel 55 gallon drum .. In the 70's the ole farmer I got it from

had to put a heater core in the 66 GTO ,

being a big guy he said he pulled the seat and 4 speed console

to help give him room. Got it finished up and took a trip to the local tavern

for a barley pop and somebody stole his car. He never got it back.

So he had the 4 speed console and the seat advertised and I picked em up

15 years ago ... Never gonna have a 66 so offering up a few hard to find

66-70 Olds/GM items here .. before epay ... I should have the ruff headrest

and the hardware also seperately if theres a need. 450 shipped ..

the metal seat back and surrounds ARE included but not shown... I tore it down

for a lube ...

I had a car with that option in it years ago but sold the car.....only one I have ever seen........Maybe you got the other one.

its been in the family for 40 years .......

was my cousins .. he passed ... we worked on it as kids ...

left it to me to enjoy 283 4bbl 3 on the tree overdrive .. really original

the reclining seat has sold

If for nothing else the story about the farmer, the barrel, the barley pop, and the stolen GTO is worth $450 in itself!
