'67 3-Speed Top Loader w/Hurst Original Hurst Shifter
This is an original equipment Ford top loader 3-speed manual transmission
with the original Hurst 3-speed floor shifter.
I removed it from a '67 Cutlass several years ago.
I drove the car home, approx. 100 miles. Transmission worked perfectly.
Intended to use it in a '67 convertible project that I sold before completion.
Transmission and shifter-$325.00 plus shipping.
(Will try to get pics posted soon.)

I've got most of the pieces for my 3-spd '67 442, but I'm missing the correct shift ball (non-console) & the bracket that attaches the shifter to the tailshaft. Can we "assume" this is a non-442 lever? Can you post some pics or email to dhead68AThotmail.com.

Correct, it is not a 4-4-2 lever. I haven't looked at it in awhile, but, as I recall,
it only had the Hurst "H" at the bottom. No "4-4-2" on it.
I think a 4-4-2 lever would fit the shifter mechanism if you could find one.
The shifter ball, as I recall, was just a solid white ball with no shift pattern.
This car was pretty original, so, I'd say the ball was original.
This was originally in a '67 Cutlass which was also a non-console car.
I'll be glad to send you pics. What exactly do you need to see?

out of a 4-4-2 which should have "4-4-2" on the handle.
The one I have is out of a Cutlass so it wouldn't have the "4-4-2" logo on the handle.

Jeff, Ed passed some 3 months back. I am not sure how his estate is handling his Olds material, and I have not bothered his daughter since she let me know other than a "hey, we can help with that stuff when the time comes."
