Want around a 355 ring gear and pinion for my 12 bolt cover 1970 w-30 olds has a 8.5 ring gear i cannt find a company thas sell new ones mine has a 391 in it but i want a little higher gear for curisin
Richmond gears did sell them but they are out of business

Those gears are for Chevy 12 bolt, not the O type 12 bolt that would be in a 70 W-30. I believe there are still some 3.42 gears for the Olds 12 bolt but have not looked in a while.

Richmond was bought by another company.They are supposedly going to make the O-axle gears again,but they need to look at sales,market,to justify making them again.There is supposedly over 150 orders for them,so we'll see.A year ago,they said they would be available May 2013.Well,here we are,and no further progress made.
On another note,they never made a 3:55 for the O-axle,GM or aftermarket.
