I want around a 355 ring gear and pinion 8.5 ring gear for my 70 442 w-30 has a 10 bolt cover richmond gear did sell them but they sold out my car has a 391 gear in it an its to low for crusin

Don't believe any 1970 442's came with a 10 bolt rear end cover

First tell us if this is a type o rear end, a 12 bolt Chevy, an 8.5" 10 bolt or other. It is not clear.

If you car is original then it came with type O. You state it has 3.91s which makes sense. Your only option with that carrier is to go to a 3.42 gear set which is an excellent choice.

Sorry i said 10 cover i ment to post 12 bolt cover but the ring gear has 10 bolts a 342 gear will be great
