'67 Cutlass center link aka relay rod
Bill, isn't this one of those small or large pin sizes where they connect to the pitman and idler arms? I may have either one if I know what you need. Thanks, Bob.

ok, here's the final poop...
i found a brand new sws #107-224 relay rod from a company by the name of cpp. i found it, on sale, on ebay. $56.05 (was $59.99) to my door(free standard shipping). the prevalent regular price i've found to range between ~$90 - ~$120.
it's a bit beefier than the stock piece, .906" nominal(sws) vs. .810" nominal(gm). it's grease-able with the included zerk fittings. all required hardware is included. i'd post a link to the ebay site-but that's not allowed, afaik. pm for the link. it has the sws(southwest speed) part number stamped on it, so, i'll conclude that it's their part, for about half the price of buying it straight from them($99) + shipping.

i'm under the impression that ebay links aren't allowed here.
i've heard of interference issues when using the 502 motor, but since i'm not running a chebby in my olds, there should be no issues. i did a side-by-side comparison of the original rod with the sws one i received-i'm convinced there will be no issues.

dan, it seems as though it goes on sale every so often, if you've got the time, you can wait them out
since a mod asked about the ebay link thing, here it is: http://www.ebay.com/itm/261264749800...84.m1439.l2649

Hi Bill,
I just clicked on the link you posted, and it's for sale for $59.99 again, but I have the feeling that it looks weaker than the one from SWS...
CPP: http://www.ebay.com/itm/261264749800...84.m1439.l2649
SWS: http://www.southwestspeed.com/?sec=view_part&id=24562
Can you tell me, which one looks more like the one you bought please?
Thanks

i think the ebay pic is just a generic pic. the one i received from cpp had the sws part number stamped on it, and i posted the diameter of the one i received, above. i would not call this rod weak by any means-it's considerably heftier than the factory piece. it looks like a better forging too. i don't think you'll be disappointed... i'm fairly picky about the quality of parts i put on ernie.
