I know that the wait suck right now but it will get better.

Luckily people still can get a new pair of aluminum heads from China for less than $500 bare.

Looks like you're right. I bought a pair delivered new for about $400 for a pair just a few years ago. So they have more than doubled the price, while the complete, with vales and springs are about the same as before, at around 12-1300 dollars. The great deals on their intakes seems to also be gone.

Why is it that some of us cannot overcome the urges to crap on others threads. I don't want to close this thread, knock it off.

Frankly, I would be happy if Mark would ask the mods to close this one and start a new one later when he is able to publish his dyno testing results. Until he has details to share on the final specifications and the results of his performance testing, there is not much else to say. Just my two cents.

I’m with you 100% on that, thanks.
I have a planned conference call this week with Edelbrock. We have a lot to go over but two of the questions I plan to ask are; can I post flow numbers, and can I post Dyno numbers. Testing is pretty much complete at this point, at least on the small block ones with this combination. We’ll see what they say.
Note: Velcro and others will still crap on this no matter what. We’ll just have to muddle thru it.

yes, from now on , and in my past posts, always assume I’m talking Olds.

I will specifically say Chev when I mean Chev.

Can you ask them where in line the Olds heads are? I'm sure they're behind on production with more than just Oldsmobile heads.

I thought the delay with Edelbrock had nothing to do with the move because it was just offices that moved, not the manufacturing?

did the whole operation move?
