First time I saw that one was in a 24 hour theatre in Brixton, on the other side of the pond. Midnight triple feature with "Slaughterhouse 5" and "The Wall," if I recall.

Tube wasn't running yet when I walked out into the early morning sunshine, so I walked back to South Ken., with my mind buzzing from more than just the films and the late hour.

I figured that gig out about 20 years ago.I still can't believe some people have faith in that place.
I also can't believe Lynn is still walking above ground. His previous job was a used car salesman. They don't have little elves in the back, making this stuff.Just a printer & packager.

Angry poutine

This thread reminded me of the sticker on Tony's race car. He has a sticker of calvin doing his thing with a mondillo bumper sticker strategically placed

Interesting thread to read with my coffee first thing in the morning (don't harass me for being a late riser, I have issues). Jamesbo, I think you need to give us a good recipe for a variant on poutine. BTW I was introduced to cheese curds while living in Wisconsin and they are great! I love the way they squeak when you bite into them when they are really fresh.

Success!

Throw montreal poutine into a ravishing conversation and it always steers the way.

Here's a place i went to last night, it's called Banquise, it has the best poutine in montreal. That's all it serves, with smoked meat, bacon, mexican, steak, hash browns, you name it, they've got it.

Someone said canadians were not nice, and my neighbor Jean "le-poutine" is kind of mean, i think that's what did it.

Then i got hungry. it's a vicious circle

I purchased a couple of the Mondello books and a t-shirt as well. While the books were fine, although cheaply produced, the t-shirt was a size too small and not of the image I requested. It kind of reminds me of the 'ol JC Whitney days when you rarely got what you ordered the fist time.

I could have told him the AMC seal works with the ears cut off. This is from personal experience. Never saw this thread. On the praries up here, poutine is not popular. Most Canadian's are decent people, some are not.

I see one kind of poutine missing from that list Tony: Breakfast poutine!

There is a restaurant chain in Ottawa that has it. It has hollandaise sauce instead of gravy.

This crazy thread reminds me of an ole joke.

This baby seal goes into a bar and the bartender says, "Whata ya have?'

The baby seals says, "Anything but Canadian Club on the rocks."
