'80 4 speed?
#2
According to my books, some diesels came with the manual gearbox...I have seen a few (in junkyards with the goods gone out of it) but they are rare. Try in the El Camino realms because there were more of them with manual trans. HOWEVER I am not sure if the Ch*vy pattern would be the same as the BOP stuff...

Hi Wildman,
The perfect set-up for your car would be from a 1978 to 1981 Malibu, El Camino or Le mans with a three or four speed set-up from the factory. I haven't seen a manual factory Olds from the G-body era, but it would be cool. If you could find a complete set-up from a parts car it would give you everything that you would need. The steering column is different as well. I have owned a few of these cars and it's a neat set-up. I have a friend who has switched his Malibu over to a four speed and he bought a 1980 Grand Le Mans from a wrecking yard to get everything that he needed for the swap.
Good Luck.
Barry
