Clutch fork and throw out bearing

I have found that when I install the throw out bearing(centerforce n1716, also 614018) in the reproduction fork, the flange of the bearing extends past the flats ground onto fork tips. Will this cause a problem, or should I grind/file the flats wider as to allow for better contact on the bearing flange? This is my first time installing clutch components as I am in the final stages of converting my auto into a manual stick shift. Here are a couple of pictures. Thanks.

The original forks are not grounded in that area. They look like that when there worn out. Appears the repro fork was reversed engineered from a badly worn fork.

Thanks for the response, that's unfortunate. I'll try to source another or at the very least try to weld it up.
