Rebuild Thoughts

Want to have my TH350 gone through as part of my project. 93K on the clock when I removed it, and has had nothing done in 52 years. Any thoughts on a fair price to do this, and any recommendations in the Massachusetts area?

In 2017 I had the transmission in my '78 Toronado rebuilt because it was leaking like a sieve. I had the local AAMCO shop do it. This was in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The shop there was very old school and came highly recommended by the local old car community. They did a great job on my car. Now 7 years later and no problems. It cost about $2200 and was well worth it.

I know you're not in Las Cruces, but don't discount the local AAMCO. They see transmissions all day long. The THM was used in millions of vehicles, and they're being rebuilt all the time all these decades later. Ask local car guys for opinions.

I had a TH400 rebuilt and installed for less than $1000, but that was over 10 years ago. I've actually considered going back to the same transmission shop (even though it's out of town) to have the C6 in my Ford truck rebuilt.
