The original trans in your 67 had a switch pitch torque converter in addition to the electric kickdown. The switch on the firewall has three terminals, +12V power in, signal out to the switch pitch solenoid, and signal out to the kickdown. The trans should have a two terminal connector on the case. The harness from the switch to the trans is available new. The wire that powers the switch comes from the firewall connector.

Thanks I don't see the wires on the firewall but it looks like there's a rod connected to the firewall that connected to the carb it has three wires on it my test light shows there's power at the fuse on both sides

How about a photo, since your description is a bit ambiguous. You should see +12V on the yellow or orange wire with the key in the RUN position. The terminal for the switch pitch will have power with the throttle at idle, the kickdown will not. As you press the pedal, both terminals should have no power at part throttle, then both should have power at wide open throttle.

That's the Littlefuse non-adjustable design. Didn't know they used them in Cutlasses. Not too surprising though.

Test it with your test light as Joe mentions above and if you're not getting power to the switch pitch and/or kickdown pins, the brass contacts inside the with may be worn down too far to make a connection.

There aren't replacements I'm aware of, but you can solder some replacement points onto them to get connectivity back.

Well, figure out why. Start with the TRANS fuse.

Ok, now trace the wire from that switch on the engine side of the firewall back to trans fuse. You are losing power somewhere.

The wire goes from the fuse box to the firewall connector to the switch. The total length is about 3 ft. Frankly we've spent more time talking about this than it takes to trace that wire. A diagram isn't going to tell you any more than that. Personally I'd look at the firewall connector as the problem.
