Pro tour tire/rim size

Hello - new to your site - looks awesome !

Can anybody help me. I have a 1984 hurst oldsmobile. I am looking at pro touring the car.
Does anybody know what size and off set i can fit with out allot of modifications. The car is stock with about 1" lowered.
The best I have come up with is: 225/17 front - 245/45/17 rear but don't know the off set in the back. I would like to have the deepest in the rear.

Thank you !

You're probably asking this question on the wrong site. Check www.pro-touring.com, there are a lot of g bodies there.

Welcome to the site. I'm not familiar with what firs your car and what doesn't, but others may chime in. Post some pictures of your car.

I have had 245-45 on Boss 338,18x8 on the front with 4.5 in of back spacing and 275-40 on18x9.5 on the rear with 5.125 in. I currently have 235/45 on 17x7 and 275/40 on 17x9 Rev 100 wheels on my 1987 Buick Turbo T. The 18s work but the rear tire is BIG and the fronts need alot of bs so they do not hit those bolts that hold the inner fenders on. Finally a big brake upgrade on the front, Wilwood or Baer T4s, will require additional bs.

I really like the 17" idea what about 17" front & 18" rear - 2 things, did you drop the car at all as far as what suspension upgrades did you do - I am pretty lost when it comes to this tire thing - I also figured out if I do go to 17" they are about 3" shorter than the stock tires so it will look goofey if i dont lower the car with drop spindles - thats why I'm thinking 17-18 - can you show any pictures ?
thank you

I used Moog springs F 5660 and R 5413 see the thread below. All new suspension, bilstein shocks, jeep steering box with shaft, and 12" LS1 front brakes.
