1968 Cutlass S Barrel Nuts

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could help me. I'm looking for some Barrel nuts for my moldings as my body guy doesn't want to take the fenders off to get all the molding and trim reinstalled. Can anyone help me with what size of barrel nuts I'd need to reinstall the peak molding on the front of the fender also the one that wraps around the front near the headlight. Also what sizes I'll need for the emblems? If anyone could help that would be great. I had a guy look at the moldings and he said they were like a .18 so not sure if it's a 3/16 or what size it would be. Thanks

John

I have the 68 442 catalog from original parts group and they sell the nuts for all the molding.

For the eyebrow moulding over the headlight, you just reach around the rad cradle and put the nut on the stud with your finger tips or something sticky on a 3/8 socket and long extension...use left hand for left side and that other hand for the other side...as for the peak moulding, its real easy if you simply remove the inner fender and then you can just walk in...
