I was surprised to see I made the video. It was a sad day but I was able to drive it home. Luckily I had a spare bumper, hood, and fender at home. I was able to get it repaired the same week, minus the paint. But that is also what lead to the current configuration which I like much better.
Mine was a misjudgement on my part and I almost missed him. Just caught the very corner of the bumper, no structural damage at all.
I wonder about the rest of the stories?

Great work, again, BigJerr! All the while I was watching it, was thinking I'd better send you a picture of Big Red to have for the sequel, and "up jumped a junebug".............Big Red............at the last! So sad. But Juju already saying whe wants nothng but another '68 S convertible, to be /or to be painted/red; guess that one will become Big red II????? Wow!

After seeing some of those rear end shots, I will be posting a short thread of my LED Taillight conversion. It looks stock, only better. And the brake reaction time is improved enough to possibly save you from being rear ended.

Some don't look too bad.
That blue Cutlass with the 13 inch glod 150 spoke wheels, that's the only one that I'm glad was wrecked. (And it wasn't that bad either) Car's out of it's misary.
You forgot one Sept 12, 2008

I guess I will include the infamouse 1992 pics of my mom's '86 CSB.
It was hit by a speeding tractor trailer on Park road running a red light at Custer in Plano. Took the guy half a mile to finally stop. He had a driving record about that long and he was actually approved to carry hazardous cargo. Scary indeed.
The good news was that she had it repaired.
Since the front ends are modular, she had a shop unbolt one from a junker to put on hers. Of course it was an 83 or something but after painting the whole thing she got another 12 years out of it. It never ran quite the same though, as if some vac lines got crossed.
It is now in the scrap pile in china by now.
