G'day all ... I've found my way back ...

Hi CO

It's been a while but I have wandered back to update you on the "Fleet"

I have sold my blue 1968 Cutlass to a young(er) guy in a place called Cootamundra New South Wales ... about 8 hours drive north of where I live.

It has gone to a great new home and he has got straight into a full strip down and rebuild ! I look forward to seeing what was a good, solid car back to 100%. (pics to come)

It took him an extra 2 hours to get home because every time he stopped for a stretch someone came up and said "Sweet ride mate, WTF is it ?" Hahaha

Last weekend I met him half way and bought back the 14 inch Rally's off it ... he's after 15 inch ones for it.

I'll be in touch more now ...

DPP07DA0501140E36[2].jpgWow Gary you sure have some nice Oldsmobiles there down under. We have some gooduns over here in the UK too, here is a pic of my 72 Old's Cutlass Supreme and my mate Roger in his 71 442. As you can probably tell we are into a bit of street/strip action over here, cheers, Paul

I'm always impressed when I hear of these cars in other parts of the world! Sometimes its hard to find the correct parts here in the States, so I imagine you've got quite the challenge rebuilding them in your countries

Well John, I have been lucky enough to get reasonable cars that are solid and complete... it's a good start

I have not had any bad dealings with the USA sellers yet ... so far so good
