Mark, as expected, the torque curve on my 440 looks almost the same from 3900 to 5000, but the mine starts falling off at 5,100 due to the Performer RPM.
What's the 0.050" numbers on those lobes?
How is the Terminator TBI working out? I just ran a 2 barrel Sniper 2 on a straight 6 in a '65 C10 and, once we got the original distributor to work correctly, ran really really well. Much better than the ongoing battle with a first gen MSD Atomic TBI on a mild SBC. Hilariously, that 2 barrel Sniper has a "cam" configuration screen with only one option: "Stock/mild". Very presumptuous of them, I think.

With the big lifters it comes out to 246/254@.050.
Terminator is probably the best of the worst. As you know I don’t regard TBI units as “fuel injection”. But these work ok. You just need to really limit the learn almost immediately after getting a base map, and do the rest yourself. Otherwise, they don’t repeat very well pull to pull.

Bruce, actually the Dyno sheet posted doesn’t really give the whole story. It was still making in the 580’s around 6200. (Never look at the first and last number as being correct). I’d say a redline of 6600 or so would prove to be optimum.
This beauty is mine!. Mark did my 455 build so I knew this one would be fun. Going in my 69 Cutlass Convertible with a TH400 from JW Performance and 3.91 12 bolt from Brian Trick.
BAM only makes solid lifters. Sure, setting the lash on a hydraulic cam is a bit tricky (you want close to zero but not zero when cold), but at least for me it's not any noisier than it was with hydraulic lifters.
